Q: Hey, I came here looking for tons of cool MP3's and music, but I don't see any here!!! Where are they???

A: Well, I'm very sorry, but we only have shows and DOC files, however I heard that if you rename those DOC files to something else and try to view them with Winamp instead of Word weird things might happen (hint hint, nudge nudge).

Q: OK! That sounds COOL! I'll go download a show right now!!! HEY!!! What the hell is going on, I clicked on a link and nothing is happening!!! This sucks!!!

A: Hmmm... You're using Microsoft Exploder aren't you? Well, don't worry, all you have to do is just RIGHT CLICK the show (NEVER LEFT CLICK A SHOW WITH EXPLORER UNLESS YOU ARE REALLY BORED) now after RIGHT CLICKING the show choose "Save Target As..." (or anything similar) and save the file to your HD! Simple :).

Q: I'm not using EXPLORER DAMN IT!!! I've got Netscape!!!

A: Well, first let me thank you for supporting the competition! Monopoly SUCKS and so does Microsoft :). If you left click a show with Netscape and don't get a "Save to Disk" message then again RIGHT CLICK the show and choose "Save Link As..." (or anything similar) and save the file to your HD! Simple :).

Q: OK! COOL! But what the hell is a HD???

A: It's your Hard Drive!

Q: What's that???

A: It's where you store files on YOUR computer (your C: drive, or all the drives up to your CD-ROM).

Q: OK! I'll go do that, thanks! HEY!!! What the hell is going on here??? I started downloading and suddenly it stopped and vanished, I only downloaded 500K!!! This SUCKS!!! I hate this place, your site SUCKS!!!

A: Calm down there, things like this happen sometimes, but there IS a solution, just go to our links section and download GETRIGHT!!! It's a download manager that resumes incomplete downloads, it's THAT simple.

Q: AUGH!!! DAMN THIS!!! I clicked that stupid link a MILLION times, GETRIGHT doesn't get it and download it!!! I hate this place!!!

A: Well, that's true, GETRIGHT doesn't automatically get DOC files (it will take the older PDF files though, but NOT DBF!), so you're going to have to help it a bit. Since you're a Netscape (TM) user, just RIGHT CLICK the show and choose "Copy Link Location..." (or anything similar), Exploder users should RIGHT CLICK the shows and choose "Copy Shortcut..." (or anything similar). Now, after doing that, go to GETRIGHT and open it, then, go to "File" -> "Enter New URL..." and looky here, you got a window with an address! Just click OK, then SAVE your file and choose when to download it, if the download stops, GETRIGHT will automatically resume it!

Q: Hey Cool!!! By the way, how can I register GETRIGHT??? Can you give me a Serial Number for it???

A: No, either buy it or try to look for it somewhere else, this is a show site not warez/serialz/crackz site.

Q: OK, never mind, HEY!! WHAT THE?!?!

A: Now what?

Q: There's a BROKEN LINK here!!! This thing ain't working!!!

A: Not possible! BensGems is checked almost daily for broken links, some of the times you might get disconnected from the server, but the LINK is FINE! So just retry a couple of times!

Q: I retried a million times, it's DEAD MAN!

A: OK, if the unlikely happens and you DID find a broken link, report this to BensGems and the link will either be fixed or removed (probably removed to make more room for more shows ;))

Q: Ahhh... Finally finished downloading the show... AUGH!!!! IT OPENS MY WORD!!!

A: I wouldn't recommend DOUBLE CLICKING my DOC files, since WORD is not yet capable of showing them ;), however you should try DRAGGING them to WINAMP or renaming them to.... something else ;) (click the file you want to rename then press the F2 key on yer keyboard to rename it!)

Q: Ahhhh.... Finally!!! Hey you're site is REALLY COOL!!! Can I request some shows too???

A: Thanks! Sure you can, though we DON'T have all the shows out there, we will try to please most of our customers, if we don't have a certain show it will be posted on our "Wanted Shows" section, and hopefully someone that has it will be kind enough to help us out.

Q: HEY!!! I'd like to help!!! I have one of your "Wanted Shows" right here!!!

A: That's GREAT! First of all, listen to it from start to finish and make sure it doesn't skip, pop, or make weird funny noises, we ONLY ACCEPT GOOD QUALITY SHOWS from 128KBPS and ABOVE here at BensGems, 112KBPS are NOT welcomed here (unless stated otherwise)! Now just go to the E-MAIL section and drop BensGems a line, we'll get back to you ASAP!

Q: OK, so maybe I don't have one of your "Wanted Shows" can I still make some comments and stuff to you?

A: SURE! Just E-mail BensGems or Bishop and tell us whatever is in your mind (BensGems checks his mail daily, Bishop usually twice a week cause he has a life ;)),as long as it isn't junk mail we'll be happy to read your thoughts and opinions!

Q: Dum de dum, nice show... HEY!!! There's a skip here!!!

A: No way! All BensGems shows are checked for flaws before uploaded, you can expect 100% quality here, no skips/hisses/pops and crackles.

Q: I'm serious!!! There's a glitch in the show!!!

A: In the unlikely event you have stumbled upon a faulty show, report to BensGems ASAP, the show will be checked, if the show is indeed faulty it will be replaced with a good version!

Q: HEY!!! I have a really good show site I'd like to share with you, can we exchange links?

A: As long as you follow some simple rules I'd be happy to exchange links! The rules are: 1) NO PORN! BensGems will not link to ANY site that has PORN or PORN sponsors!
2) MINIMUM POP-UP SCREENS! Yes, even BensGems have those annoying pop-ups, but it's cause we use a FREE server to host the site! If you have more than 5 POP-UPS that go off all together BensGems will NOT link to you!
3) NO RIPPED LINKS! Here at BensGems we work and slave to bring you QUALITY SHOWS! It really sucks to find out some wannabe out there steals our links and takes credit for them! Just like we don't RIP any links, we ask from you to upload your own shows and NOT rip other peoples links!

Q: OK! Cool, also I see you have some good shows up here, I want to see the FULL showcase of a performer!!! Can you put it up???

A: No, we try to give you many various performers and we will NOT have full showcases here because it takes too much time to put them on and they get TOO much attention (and we don't want to be shut down too fast).

Q: But the performer is unavailable ANYWHERE!!!

A: Well, sometimes we will have shows that are unavailable for purchase, if you'd like to see more from that specific performer, make a request and if we have more we'll put it up (or tell you where you can buy it ;))
